"These were part of a series
of concepts provided to Ernie Retino of Maranatha! Music for a children's
record album and 'comic book' they were planning (part of the 'Psalty'
series, as I recall). I don't remember the name of the character any more:
it seems it was something corny like 'Barkley.' I believe they ultimately
hired a different artist to do the final comic, if they produced it at
all, though I feel my concepts were better. They may have been a bit too
